‘Whitehall Friends’ is the name for Whitehall Primary Schools’ Parent Teacher Association. Our committee is made up of the following people:-

Jane Sharp, Lisa Hogarth,

Karen Wilkinson, Saffron Hillier,

Our two main events are the Christmas Bazaar and Summer Fete where we rely heavily on parental help by either helping to set-up or by running a stall. A lot of events such as the Easter egg raffle involve just the children, however we do occasionally hold events purely for the parents such as coffee mornings, Quiz Nights and Race Nights. The French café and Spanish café are popular and enjoyed by children and families alike.

The committee meets once a term depending on how many events that are planned and this is normally straight after school, or on an occasional evening.

The money that we raise has helped to purchase many essential items for the nursery and the school such as computer equipment, new football kits, listening centres, display equipment etc.

We always welcome new ideas and all parents are welcome to attend our meetings. Look out for information in newsletters and on the playground notice board.
