Early Years Teaching Assistant (Reception)

Required for January, 2018.

 

A child’s first step into a Foundation Stage setting is the first of a long educational journey from childhood to adolescence and perhaps beyond. At Whitehall, we are committed to providing the best possible start to this journey.

 

We currently have the following vacancy for a like minded person – come and make a difference to our children’s journey....

 

A positive approach to problem solving alongside bundles of energy and passion for Early Years are essential!

 

Hours:  

35 hours per week 8.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday (with ½ hour for lunch)

45.6 weeks per year (Term time + 5 INSET days)

Salary: Scale 3, Points 14 – 17 £15,864 - £16,685 per annum, actual salary

 

Applicants should hold an appropriate Level 2 qualification in Early Years, Child Development and Education (see job description for accepted qualifications).

 

Candidates should have good spoken English skills, GCSE Maths and English Grades A – C or equivalent and experience of paid work in an Early Years setting post qualification.

Assistant Site Services Officer

Required for January, 2018

 

Hours:     20 hours per week
Work pattern:    2pm – 6pm Mon – Fri
Type of contract:  Permanent 52 week per year contract
Salary

Scale 3, Points 13 - 17

£10,365 - £10,902 per annum actual salary

The successful candidate would work both alongside the Site Services Officer and independently to help with the smooth running of a safe, clean and well organised learning environment for approximately 480 pupils.
