End of Year 6 Celebrations

Dear Parents & Carers,

Please find below some information regarding some of the end of year 6 celebrations which will occur in the second half of the summer term.

Week Commencing 12th July 2021

In this week there will be a Year 6 Production. This will be a musical that children will learn to perform as part of their topical work in Summer 2. There will be two performances for parents to watch which will be ticketed events that are run according to the latest government guidance regarding Covid-10. Further information will be sent out nearer to the time.

Monday 19th July 2021

On Monday 19th July there will be an activity day in school for Year 6 pupils. We are aware that the pupils have not had the opportunity for trips or a residential in the last year so we have created a package for the full school day which remains in line with government guidance regarding Covid-19.

This day will include a pizza party for pupils and activities which we have hired for the day; these include several large inflatable activities along with a 40m climbing wall. In order to help us cover the cost of this, we are asking for a £30 donation. If you have a financial query about this and require financial support from the school then please do ask. We ask that the contribution be made via ParentPay before the 25th June to secure our booking.

Thursday 22nd July 2021

On Thursday 22nd July, there will be a Year 6 Leavers Assembly. This will be a socially distanced event to celebrate the end of their time with us and let them graduate from Whitehall in style! More information will be sent out nearer the time.

If you have any questions about these events then please contact me via the school office.

Kind Regards,

Miss Raney

UKS2 Lead.
