Earth Day 2025

Earth day was celebrated on Tuesday 22nd April.  The theme was 'Our Power, Our Planet'. This year, there is an international push for renewable energy and an aim to triple clean energy by 2030.

Earth Day 2024

This year, Earth day was celebrated on Monday 22nd April.  The theme was 'Planet vs Plastics'.  To mark Earth Day, Suzanne Welch from RSPB conducted assemblies and workshops with all year groups.  

Earth Day 2023

Internationally, Earth day is celebrated on Saturday 22nd April.  The theme this year is 'Invest in our Planet'. At Whitehall Primary School, we will mark Earth Day on Monday 24th April by having a technology switch-off day and taking part in nature conserving activities!

We are proud to present our youngest children, whose love and gratitude for the Earth is inspiring. Pupils at Whitehall work alongside the organisations that have inspired them. Earth Day is not just one day, it is every day.
