I am delighted to become a Governor at Whitehall School and hope I can bring my experience and expertise to the Governing Body who have been very welcoming.

I am a retired secondary headteacher (for 17 years)  and am a Chair of Governors in a primary school in Tower Hamlets. I have been a Governor for more than 25 years so I know what is expected! My experience and expertise is in leadership, teaching and learning, safeguarding and SEN and inclusion. I completed my PHD when I retired and am always willing and happy to learn new things. I really enjoy working alongside leaders and school staff to help and support them in their roles.

I am very interested in hearing children’s voices through the school council and other pupil leadership programmes. I am also very interested in hearing staff and teachers voices as I get to know the school.
