  Dear Parent and Carers,                                                                             

  Sponsored Fitness Event and Sport Relief

   

  On Wednesday 9^th March, we will be welcoming International athlete Frederick Afrifa who will be spending the day with us. 

  Frederick is an International Sprinter and is a two time national gold medallist. He was London Schools Champion in 2011, World Youth Relay Champion in 2013, Surrey County Champion 2015 and National Champion 2018. He will be leading a sponsored fitness circuit with all pupils and assemblies with a question and answer session for the school.

   

   The aim of the event is to inspire the pupils to be more physically active, but just as importantly to encourage them to discover and then pursue their passion in life. The event is both to connect the pupils to an extraordinary athlete role model, and to raise money to improve physical activity for the school while also supporting GB athletes (including Paralympic athletes).  We would therefore like pupils to come to school in their PE kit on Wednesday 9^th March.  

   

  A fundraising page has been set up on our website. Pupils can be sponsored any amount to take part- there is no minimum donation. More than one donation can be made if other family members or friends would like to contribute. Please click the link below:

  The money raised will be used towards new sports equipment for the school  as well as supporting the GB athletes.  Please ensure that all sponsorship is paid by Friday 11^th March.

  School Nurse Drop-in Sessions

   

  We are pleased to announce that our Nurse Drop-in Sessions are back!

  The first session will be held between 9.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. on Monday 7^th February.

  These sessions will normally be held on a monthly basis and further dates and information will be published as soon as possible.
