  Y4 Multiplication Tables Check

   

  You may be aware that from June 2020 the Government announced a new statutory check for Year 4 children called the “Multiplication Tables Check”. Due to the pandemic, this test was postponed. However, the tests will go ahead, as planned, this year.

   

  In accordance with the National Curriculum, primary school children are expected to know their all up their times tables by the end of Year 4, up to 12x12. As a result, our curriculums prepares the children to know their times tables by the end of Year 4.

   

  The Multiplication check will take place during the month of June.  It is an online check that takes around five minutes to complete.  The children will complete the test in the computing suite, in a small group, with a school adult.  It will be a low-key event which should have little impact on the child’s day.
