  • New Book Investment

    Wed 05 Mar 2025

We are thrilled to announce that our school has just invested over £10,000 on brand-new books for everyone to enjoy. This order comes at a perfect time as we have marked Literary Week, this week, and have held various events throughout the school to encourage reading and the enjoyment it brings with it.

These books have been carefully selected to ensure that the range of books we have on offer, for the children, are contemporary, inclusive, contain a range of themes and are written by numerous different authors. The school council have been hands on in assisting us select these titles, and have spoken to their classes to ensure their recommendations are taken into account.

Next week, the books will be available in classrooms, shared areas, and the library, giving students even more opportunities to discover new stories and expand their knowledge. Reading is a powerful way to spark imagination, build critical thinking skills, and explore new ideas.

We encourage all students to take advantage of these wonderful new additions and have explained to the children that they can borrow any of the books, from school, as long as they return them when they have finished.
